Locating Your ID on Google Calendar

If you want to display events from a Google calendar on your Simple Calendar, you must enter the relevant Google calendar ID when creating the calendar. This is a special code in the Google Calendar app that corresponds to a calendar you own or are subscribed to.

Keep in mind that adding a calendar that is set to the public requires careful consideration beforehand. If you're not sure how to make a Google calendar public, please follow these steps before adding it to Simple Calendar.

  1. Log in using your Google account to access the Google Calendar app page.

  1. Go to the list of available/subscribed Google calendars (typically on the bottom left).

  1. To access your calendar settings, select Settings and sharing from the dropdown menu that appears when you hover over the calendar you want to work on and click the three vertical dots that appear to the right.

  1. There will be a new page opening. Locate the Calendar ID located at the bottom of the Integrate Calendar section, then copy & paste it into the relevant form in the Calendar Settings page, which is where Simple Calendar is installed. Verify again that the text string you copied was the correct one and that there are no unnecessary spaces.
